Drop a link — and you're at the fire
A voice room right in the browser, where everyone is heard from where they stand. No install, no account, and no “hang on, mine is updating”.
- Works in any browser
- Join from somebody else's computer
- Nothing is recorded
This window is live: press the ground to walk round the fire, throw a 🔥, change the colours.
The shortest call is the one that never happened
While one of you installs an app, another resets a password and a third waits for an invite to the server, the call that should have taken five seconds simply doesn't start.
- “We're at the club, jump on voice”
- “Game starts in two minutes”
- “Mum, let me call you”

Catch the whisper
In SyncAni a voice comes from where its owner stands, and it turns with you. An animal is hiding in a bush and whispering: run towards the sound, hear it swing from ear to ear as you turn and grow louder as you close in, and catch it.
Three steps. The last one is talking
Open the link
A room code is three words — you can shout it across a club or read it down the phone.
Give a name, pick an animal
That is the whole of joining. No email, no password, no “continue with…”.
Talk
You're heard the moment you sit down at the fire. Everyone is in one clearing, and every voice has its own place.
One fire, three different evenings
- Friday, 8 pm
Tabletop: D&D, Mafia
Four to eight people for hours around one story. The game master puts the guard's voice on the right, and everyone knows where he stands. A whisper in Mafia stays a whisper.
— The guard is right behind you. Hear him?
- Computer club
Gaming groups
One link and everyone is on voice, even on a club machine with nothing installed and nobody logged in. Split into teams for a match, come back to the hall.
— Code's in the chat, we start in a minute
- Right now
Everyday calls
Two or three people who need to talk now, not “tomorrow at 3:30”. The code can be read out loud, and the device doesn't even have to be yours.
— Dad, open the browser and type three words
Choose how you want to stand
The room fits what you're doing: a hangout, a party, a match or just a call.
Campfire
The room as a scene: everyone stands around a fire and voices come from where they stand.
Bubbles
A square map you walk freely. Come close to somebody and you share a bubble: inside it you hear each other in full, outside it everyone is a whisper.
Team games
Three areas in one room: Team 1, the hall and Team 2. You hear the area you stand in, and walk between them yourself.
Plain
An ordinary call: tiles, every voice at the same volume, no panning and nowhere to walk.
You need nothing to be heard. The rest is there when you want it
Video and screen
Camera and screen sharing switch on in the room when you need them.
Chat, reactions, hands
For everything that shouldn't interrupt anybody. 🔥 included.
Narrator
Reads text aloud for the whole room — the rules, a letter from the quest, a toast.
Moving around
Step out of the circle to talk to one person, and come back when you're done.
Host controls
Whoever lit the fire decides what happens around it.
From a phone
In the browser too. With headphones the spatial sound works on any device.
Somebody to read it out for everyone
Paste a line and the narrator reads it aloud to the whole room, from its own seat at the fire: the rules, a letter from the quest, a toast. Press one and hear it.
- Recorded once by the narrator's own voices, so nothing is generated for you here. In a room it reads whatever you give it.
Dear heroes! I, the dragon Ember, invite you to tea. Bring biscuits. And a fire extinguisher, just in case.
What's said at the fire stays at the fire
0 recordings
Audio and video are never recorded. A room stops existing once the last person leaves.
Direct
Voices travel straight between the participants' browsers. Video goes to a server only once a room gets big.
0 accounts
To join. An account is needed once — by whoever creates the room, so somebody is responsible for it.
| SyncAni | A usual call | |
|---|---|---|
| Install | Not needed | An app or a plugin |
| Account to join | Not needed | Usually needed |
| Voice from where the person is | Yes | Everyone in one spot |
| From somebody else's computer | In seconds | Log in first |
| Invitation | Three words, out loud | A long link or an invite |
Before you sit down at the fire
Do I need an account?
Only to create a room, so that every room has somebody accountable for it and nobody can take it over. Joining somebody else's never asks for one.
How many people fit?
A small group comfortably. Voices travel straight between browsers, and video moves to a server once a room is big enough to need it.
Is anything recorded?
No. Audio and video travel between participants for as long as the room lasts, and the room is gone once the last person leaves.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, in the browser. Spatial sound is best heard with headphones, on any device.
How is this better than a voice channel?
There's no app, no server and no invite — just a link. And voices don't merge into one spot: each person is heard from their side, so six people can talk without talking over each other.
The fire is already lit. Call your people
Create a room, drop three words in the chat, and a minute later you're talking.
